The Getting Back Home project is an initiative led by Martu organisation Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa, providing safe transport for Martu people to get back from Newman to their remote communities.
Employing Martu drivers, the Getting Back Home project is helping protect these remote communities and enable the traditional owners of land to return to country sooner when core essential service in Newman demand the long drive to town.
