And just like that, week one of school holidays is over! We had the best time at Train Park playing games, getting crafty and grooving to good tunes as part of the East Newman Activation program!
Some of the week’s highlights included playing footy and cricket with the West Coast Eagles, Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation and The Pilbara Regiment – Australian Army
We loved decorating giant cookies with the Newman Womens Shelter and we had an awesome feed with the team from Programmed!
Mission Australia joined us at Train Park too and we had a blast with the Newman Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service who brought their firetrucks along.
A big shoutout to The Good Grocer Newman IGA for providing lots of fresh fruit for the week.
