Footy Fun at Night Fields

Night Fields was in full swing last Thursday evening with Senior Constable Clair umpiring a spirited game. Dean from the Pilbara Regiment also came along to teach the kids a thing or two about kicking a footy in combat boots.

Held every Thursday afternoon from 4.30pm – 6pm at Boomerang Oval, this awesome community initiative run by the WA Police and supported by the Newman Neighbourhood Centre, brings kids together over a game of footy and a free feed.

From next week Night Fields will be moving to the Newman Acquatic Centre for a cool change of scene with giant inflatables (although returning to Boomerang Oval on the 21st October for a footy session with West Coast Eagles before heading back to the pool on the 28th October).
